Success = Fulfilment and Freedom
What is Success without fulfillment & freedom?
In my quest for financial success, I became a blockchain enthusiast. Yes! I'll pitch my tent where I'm told it's safe, and for a while I'll watch, participate, and measure the output based on my indices, and then would move somewhere else to test the waters too. In all those movements, one thing remains unique in my heart: I've been searching for freedom, specifically financial freedom. I know that freedom is not free; it must be purchased or fought for. Being able to follow that route is what I call success.
Success is Fulfillment
My definition of success goes beyond these visible markers. True success, as I see it, is about personal fulfillment and freedom. It is the ability to live authentically, to pursue what brings joy, and to have the liberty to shape my own life without being confined by fear, pressure, or expectations.
Personal fulfillment is the inner satisfaction that comes from aligning my life with my values, passions, and purpose. It is that deep sense of contentment that arises when I know I am walking in the right direction, not necessarily the easiest or most popular path, but one that resonates with my soul. For me, fulfillment is not only about reaching a final destination; it is about growing, learning, and finding meaning in the process. It is the joy that comes from knowing I am becoming a better version of myself each day.
Success is freedom
Alongside fulfillment, I see freedom as the other essential pillar of success. Freedom is the power to make choices that reflect who you truly are, not who society expects you to be. It means having the time to spend with loved ones, the ability to explore passions without guilt, and the courage to say “yes” to what matters and “no” to what does not. To me, freedom is not just financial independence, but also emotional and mental liberation, which is the ability to live without being enslaved by comparison, fear, or doubt.
When Fulfilment meets freedom...
When fulfillment and freedom meet, success takes on a holistic meaning. It flows beyond “having more” to “being more.” It moves from chasing after recognition to quietly building a life that feels true and rewarding from within. For me, success could look like spending time with people I cherish, pursuing work that excites me, or simply enjoying moments of peace knowing that I am where I am meant to be.
In the end, I believe success is not a universal standard but a personal definition. For me, it is the blend of personal fulfillment and freedom, the joy of becoming who I am created to be, and the liberty to live that truth every single day.
In my pursuit of financial freedom, I'm gradually finding a home here.
