A wrap of my 2025 on Hive
This is not my last post for the year, but my preview of https://hive-wrapped.com/ built by @emrebeyler. It is cool to see these dapps on this blockchain that helps to summarize a user's engagement and activities. It's beautiful. This summary tells a lot about my interactions within the year on this blokchain and instructs the adjustments I haev to make in the comming year.

Looking back at my 2025 on Hive feels less like reviewing numbers and more like rereading a journal written in actions. The stats tell a story, but the real meaning lies in what those numbers reveal about growth, priorities, and participation in a decentralized digital society.
You will agree that Hive is not just a place where you post content; it is a space where presence matters. Publishing consistently throughout the year meant showing up with intention. I was not at my peak with this, because there are days, weeks and months I missed to post. However, I was not chasing volume or trends, I wrote when I had something to contribute. That pattern alone says a lot about how Hive shaped my approach to creation. For me, it is value first, visibility second.
One of the strongest signals from my wrap is engagement. The high level of commenting reflects a year spent in conversation rather than monologue. Hive rewards more than broadcasting; it thrives on dialogue. Taking time to read, respond, question, and encourage others reinforced something I’ve come to believe that communities grow when participation is mutual. My experience this year confirmed that influence on Hive is not built only by posting but by being present in other people’s spaces. I celebrate those users who ranked top in my engagement list. I was blesed to have learnt from you.
Curation also became a quiet but meaningful practice. Every vote cast was a deliberate act, to endorse effort, insight, or originality. On Hive, voting is a redistribution of value. Learning to vote thoughtfully reshaped how I see contribution. It reminded me that even when I’m not publishing, I’m still shaping the ecosystem. I will learn to do more of the voting starting from today as that was low on my part. I felt that my Hve Power is small but I now discover it could make some meaning.
Earnings in Hive Power and Hive Backed Dollars tell another part of the story. A story of long-term thinking. Powering up rather than cashing out reflects a commitment to the network itself. Hive rewards patience, consistency, and belief in the system. I am happy to have accumulated up to 525 Hive Power. It's a build for the long term. I hope to see it reach 500k in the future.
The breadth of topics I explored throughout the year also stands out. Using a wide range of tags reflects curiosity and freedom. Hive gave me room to think across disciplines, ideas, and conversations without forcing me into a narrow box. That creative flexibility is rare, and it’s one of the reasons Hive feels more like a digital home than a platform. I hope to explore themes like sports, travels in the year 2026.
I've not been much educated about governance on Hive. I need to read that up. Just 5 governance particpations. I will be more intentional with taking part in decisions that shape the network.
Perhaps most importantly, the year highlighted relationships I have built. Repeated interactions with familiar names turned usernames into people. Hive in 2025 reminded me that technology may power the system, but people give it life.
This wrap is not a victory lap. It is a checkpoint. It shows a year of steady contribution, learning, and alignment with values that go beyond rewards. This summary refines how I think about participation, ownership, and community in Web3. And that, more than any stat, is what I’m carrying forward.

Thank you my top authors and top buddies. We make it better and spreader in 2026.
I am your Blockchain and Technology Storyteller.
