Splinterlands Challenge - Quora is buffed by 2 martyr units
Cover made using images and elements from Splinterlands.
Hello everyone, this time I will be participating in this Splinterlands Challenge, where I will be showing you a ranked battle, one of which, all units will start the battle poisoned due to the Noxious Fumes modifier, so summoning units with the Immunity ability is useful, since they cannot be affected by negative effects.
The protagonist of this battle will be Quora Towershead, who is in my opinion the best epic gladius unit, as she has two types of attack (magic and ranged) and good abilities. To take advantage of the damage my units will suffer from the poison , I decided to summon two martyr units, Venari Marksrat and Fungus Flinger, which when defeated, their adjacent units will receive +1 to all stats. Since they will be next to Quora, she will receive a double buff, increasing her stats by 2, allowing her to become stronger and defeat enemy units without problems.

Since Quora is a gladius unit, she has the Bloodlust ability, which increases her stats by 1 each time she defeats an enemy unit.
Also, she has the Heal ability, which allows her to heal up to one third of her max health each round.
At level 3, she obtain the Immunity ability, which grants her immunity to negative effects such as poison.
And at level 5, she gains the Dispel ability, removing positive buffs from the enemy she attacks.
I currently have Quora Towershead at level 3, enough to have immunity. I'm trying to get more copies of Quora to level her up further, but since she is an epic card, the chances are low.
BATTLE
There are three modifiers active this time. The first is the Earthquake modifier, which will deal 2 physical damage to all non-flying units at the start of the second round onwards. Then, the Noxious Fumes, which causes all units to become posioned and lose 2 health at the start of the second round onwards. The third is the Close Range modifier, which allows all ranged units to attack in the frontline positon.

I'm playing with my account: langice. This time I choose the earth summoner, Lobb Lowland, which allows me to play a gladius unit, and will reduce the speed of the enemy units by 1.
In the first position I put Halfling Refugee, who is currently the best 1 mana unit, since this card has above average stats. Additionally, Refugee can heal himself unless his Weary ability triggers, preventing him from using it and making any movements for a turn.
In the second and fourth positions are my two martyr units to boost Quora Towershead, who will be in the third position, allowing her to gain +2 to all her stats when both martyr units are defeated, either by enemies or for the poison effect.
In the fifth position is Halaran Huntress, this is a flying unit, so it won't take damage from the earthquake, unfortunately it doesn't have immnunity so the poison will still cause damage.
And in the last position, in case the enemy plays a sneak unit, which attack the units in the last position, I put Chaos Agent.
In the first round, my Halfling Refugee defeats the enemy Refugee thanks to the help of my backline units.
In the second round, the eartquake destroys the enemy Weirding Warrior and my Chaos Agent. Then the poison effect defeats the enemy Venari Marksrat and 3 of my units, Halfling Refugee and my two martyr units, thanks to this Quora gets +2 to all stats. After that, Quora, now stronger, manages to defeat the enemy Cursed Windeku.
In the third round, no unit is defeated. But, in the fourth round, the enemy Harklaw is defeated by the earthquake and my Halaran Huntress by the poison.
Finally, after Quora weakened the enemy Riftwing, leaving it with only 2 health, at the start of the fifth round, Riftwing is defeated by the poison effect, ending the battle.

Full Battle
Quora Towershead shows how powerful she can be when her stats increase, whether with the help of her allies who have the Martyr ability, or by defeating an enemy thanks to her Bloodlust ability. And you don't have to worry about Quora getting poisoned, since she has the Immunity ability, well, if she is at least at level 3.
The enemy also played a unit with the immunity ability, which is Harklaw, but it is more of a defensive unit that an aggressive one, having great defensive abilities, but it is no match for the amazing Quora.
In this battle, Quora Towershead managed to increase her stats by 3 in total, reaching 4 magic attack power and 5 melee attack power. The enemies had no chance against her and were easily defeated. The battle ended with Quora as the sole survivor.
That's all for now guys, if you haven't played Splinterlands yet, you can join with my referral link. See you on the battlefield!
