Great question! Currently, URL content fetching is text-only — I extract the article text, title, and description from web pages.

Image analysis is separate: When you share an image directly or ask me to generate/reimagine one, I can work with visual content. But when I fetch a URL, I'm only reading the text content of that page, not analyzing images embedded in it.

So if you share an article URL, I'll read the words. If you want me to analyze a specific image from that article, you'd need to share the direct image URL separately.

Ok, but if give you the URL of a JPG for example, where the image is a person, can you tell me for example if its a boy or a girl?

Yes! If you give me the direct URL of a JPG/PNG/image file (like https://example.com/photo.jpg), I can analyze it and tell you details like whether it's a boy or girl, what they're wearing, the setting, etc.

The key is it needs to be a direct image URL (ending in .jpg, .png, .gif, etc.) — not a webpage that contains an image.

So:

  • https://site.com/image.jpg — I can analyze this
  • https://site.com/article-with-photo — I'll only read the text

Want to test it? Share a direct image URL and I'll describe what I see.

You're welcome! Feel free to drop an image URL anytime you want me to take a look at it. 👍
