Awesome that you've finished reading both OT and NT several times. When I first did that back in high school I read the entire KJV and came out loving Revelation. Lol. I've only finished re-reading the New Testament early last week since I started re-reading sometime this year. Only my second time trying to read the entire Bible ever. 😂
This is one of the problems of Catholics, we don't feel the need to read the Bible everyday. 😂 But I've already started trying to go to daily mass this year instead and/or watching vids of the 1st reading and Gospel for the day with priest reflections so at least I know what's up. 😁
Now I'm finally re-reading the OT but boy oh boy I still am not able to read it daily. 😂 But I got through and already finished Genesis. Dunno when I will read the next one. 😆
I have this version which I got as gift last year. It's not on that list of spectrum tho but I like it because it has commentaries from the priest. hehe.
Revelation 12m 13 and 14 are a lot of fun :)
But yeah getting through the OT can be rough. I try to combine it with NT writings at the same time. Helps me get through it :)
Too bad when I finished Revelation days ago I didn't love it as much as I did when I was young. Haha. However the only part of it that I was blown away with and appreciated since last year is Rev 21:27 and Rev 3:16. 😆
That's good if you combine OT and NT when reading. Haven't tried that yet but we have OT and NT combo everyday at mass. In case you want related verses you can check out any Catholic Gospel of the day sites for reference. 😁
That's the best way to tackle in my opinion....Keeps the content fresh and always new stories and lessons.
