I Own More Than 4000 Liquid HIVE
Despite HIVE’s low price, I continue to make progress, increasing my Hive Power, my liquid HIVE, and some second-layer tokens that I hold on Hive-Engine, Splinterlands (SPS and DEC), and LeoDex (LEO).
Today, in particular, I noticed that I have reached a milestone I had set for myself less than a year ago, when I aimed to reach a total of 4000 HIVE held in liquid form, therefore not staked.
I did not choose this number at random, but because it was the maximum amount of HIVE that could be converted at once on the HIVE/SWAP.HIVE bridge available on BeeSwap... which unfortunately was shut down a few months ago — the bridge, not BeeSwap, luckily.
Reaching 4000 liquid HIVE had therefore become just a symbolic goal, but I am still happy to have achieved it, because it means that my growth does not depend only on my posts and my upvotes — which reward me in the form of HP — but also on the other activities I carry out on Hive, such as playing Hive Games, occasionally executing small trading operations, and arbitraging HIVE and SWAP.HIVE on the uSwap bridge.
And so I reached 4000
At the end of December I had surpassed 3500 HIVE and, two months later, I have increased that number by 500 HIVE, as Keychain confirms when I check the combined balance of all my accounts.
Most of the liquid HIVE is held by the @liquid.wolf account, the one I use through a script to perform arbitrage on uSwap.
A significant portion, however, is now also stored in my main account, mainly the result of a fortunate trade when BRO collapsed, as well as rewards generated by Dungeon Cities and Golem Overlord — where I stopped playing months ago, but I am still earning from the sale of all the NFTs I had: just in these past few days I withdrew around 70 HIVE obtained in this way!
By combining the balances of these two accounts, I reach 4073 liquid HIVE, which I am holding in the hope of seeing HIVE regain some value sooner or later: as of now, even 30 cents seems like a mirage, a very distant and almost unreachable target... but on the other hand, a year ago it seemed impossible that HIVE could drop this low, so just as I was surprised once on the downside, perhaps in the future I will be surprised on the upside?
That would be nice.
In the meantime, the only thing I can do is try to be ready in case that happens.

Nonostante il basso valore di HIVE, continuo a fare progressi, ad aumentare il mio Hive Power, i miei HIVE liquidi ed alcuni token di secondo livello che detengo su Hive-Engine, Splinterlands (SPS e DEC) e LeoDex (LEO).
Oggi, in particolare, ho notato di aver raggiunto un traguardo che mi ero posto meno di 1 anno, quando mi ero prefissato di raggiungere il totale di 4000 HIVE detenuti allo stato liquido, quindi non in staking.
Questo numero non l'avevo scelto a caso, ma perchè era il numero massimo di HIVE convertibili in una sola volta sul bridge HIVE/SWAP.HIVE disponibile su BeeSwap... che purtroppo è stato chiuso alcuni mesi - il bridge, non BeeSwap.
Arrivare a 4000 HIVE liquidi era perciò ormai solo un obiettivo simbolico, ma sono comunque contento di esserci arrivato, perchè significa che la mia crescita non dipende solo dai miei post e dai miei upvotes - che mi danno ricompense sotto forma di HP - ma anche dalle altre attività che compio su Hive, come giocare agli Hive Games, realizzare ogni tanto piccole operazioni di trading ed arbitrare HIVE e SWAP.HIVE sul bridge uSwap.
E così sono arrivato a 4000
A fine dicembre avevo superato i 3500 HIVE e, a distanza di 2 mesi, ho incrementato di 500 HIVE questo numero, come mi conferma Keychain se vado a controllare il balance combinato di tutti i miei account.
Il grosso degli HIVE liquidi è infatti detenuto dall'account @liquid.wolf, quello che utilizzo tramite uno scipt per compiere arbitraggi su uSwap.
Una grossa fetta sono però ormai conservati anche nel mio account principale, frutto soprattutto di un fortunato trade quando BRO è collassato, nonchè delle ricompense generate da Dungeon Cities e Golem Overlord - dove ho smesso di giocare da mesi, ma continuo ancora a guadagnare dalla vendita di tutti gli NFT che avevo: proprio in questi giorni ho prelevato circa 70 HIVE ottenuti a questo modo!
Combinando il balance di questi due account arrivo a 4073 HIVE liquidi, che conservo nella speranza di vedere, prima o poi, HIVE tornare a valere qualcosa di più: ora come ora anche 30 centesimi sembrano un miraggio, un traguardo lontanissimo ed impossibile da raggiungere... ma d'altra parte un anno fa sembrava impossibile che HIVE potesse scendere così in basso, per cui, come sono stato sorpreso una volta in negativo, magari in futuro sarò sorpreso in positivo?
Sarebbe bello.
Intanto quel che posso fare è cercare di farmi trovare pronto nell'evenienza in cui ciò accada.
