Zeit für Kaffeegedanken
Auch heute morgen möchte ich wieder meine Kaffeegedanken mit euch teilen.
Und aktuell steht sehr vieles unter einem guten Stern. Das Wochenende war angekündigt mit einem ordentlichen Temperatursturz und vielen Wolken. Tatsächlich kam es aber ganz anders. Von Wolken keine Spur. Und ein Temperatursturz war auch kaum wahrnehmbar. Logischerweise ist es im April nicht dauerhaft warm und Abends wird es auch noch gut frisch. Strahlend blauer Himmel macht da vieles besser, auch wenn die Sonne schon wieder verschwindet. Und mit der Sonne kommt auch sehr viel Lebensfreude – und einiges an Motivation. Es ist schon beachtlich was alles erreicht werden kann, wenn nur ein bisschen mehr Motivation herausgekitzelt wird. Und so habe ich mich dieses Wochenende viel um einige meiner Pflanzen gekümmert. Klar, in der Sonne geht sowas sehr gut von der Hand.

Und trotzdem habe ich mich am Wochenende lange in eine Halle begeben. Wir haben einen Ausflug gemacht ins Sealife Oberhausen. Und mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. Ich bin eh sehr Meeresvernarrt, da ist es immer schön Tiere zu beobachten. Von der Anlage selber hatte ich einen sehr guten Eindruck. Schöne große Becken mit recht viel Platz. Dazu jede Menge Wissenswerte Informationen die man zu den Einzelnen Tieren erhält.

Sehr gut fand ich auch, dass es keine großen Meeressäuger vor Ort gab. Eine Meeresschildkröte gab es, ansonsten einige Haie und Rochen. Und für diese Tiere war schon sehr viel Platz. Das war zumindest mein Eindruck.
Das wichtigste war für mich allerdings, dass keines der Tiere einen schlechten Eindruck gemacht hat. Viele Tiere wirkten so wie erwartet. Faierweise habe ich die wenigsten Fische bislang in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung gesehen um einen Vergleich zu erhalten.
Falls zufällig jemand mal in der Gegend ist, besucht das Sealife in Oberhausen, es lohnt sich!

Aber jetzt wird es erstmal Zeit für eine zweite Tasse Kaffee!

Time for coffee thoughts
I would like to share my coffee thoughts with you again this morning.
And a lot of things are currently under a good star. The weekend was predicted to bring a sharp drop in temperature and lots of clouds. But it actually turned out quite differently. Not a trace of clouds. And the drop in temperature was hardly noticeable. Logically, it is not permanently warm in April and it still gets quite chilly in the evenings. A bright blue sky makes things much better, even if the sun is already disappearing again. And with the sun comes a lot of joie de vivre - and a lot of motivation. It's quite remarkable what can be achieved when just a little more motivation is teased out. And so I spent a lot of time looking after some of my plants this weekend. Of course, it's easy to do this in the sun.

And yet I spent a long time indoors at the weekend. We went on a trip to Sealife Oberhausen. And I really enjoyed it. I'm very fond of the sea anyway, so it's always nice to watch animals. I had a very good impression of the facility itself. Nice big tanks with lots of space. You also get lots of interesting information about the individual animals.

I also liked the fact that there were no large marine mammals on site. There was one sea turtle and a few sharks and rays. And there was plenty of space for these animals. At least that was my impression.
The most important thing for me, however, was that none of the animals made a bad impression. Many of the animals looked as expected. To be fair, I have seen very few of the fish in their natural environment to get a comparison.
If anyone happens to be in the area, visit the Sealife in Oberhausen, it's worth it!

But now it's time for a second cup of coffee!
