What is Special about Charnel Pit Tower?

I have played soulkeep for a period where I got familiar with most towers unlike that when I was in the first time that I have played it where I don't know the difference between towers and spells but as I played it more times I got so familiar of it and I have played more and more with good towers.

I have played this game and I have familiar of towers and spells and one of good spells that I have played with is Venus Fiendtrap but I would to talk today about one of best towers that I think it is like a gem in the game and this is Charnel Pit.

What is special about this tower is not its speed alone but if you look well at its stats you could find that this tower has an area attack and I don't realized this feature at first but when I looked at Gloom Owl that has a singular attack I have found that area attack is much better.

You can attack a group of fiends that are coming to your gate and as you know that fiends are coming in groups especially those with low HP so you can have a fantastic time for this Charnel Pit and for its good fire interval that distinguishes it from other towers.
