This words touch me deep when I first saw the quote, because I see the truth inside it. Many people today only think about getting, getting, and getting more. They work hard, they chase money, they even forget themself. But at the end of the day, life is not just about what we collect, it is about what we give out.
When you only focus on what you get, maybe you can live, maybe you can buy food, clothes, pay bills. That is living, yes, but it is not complete life. Complete life is when you also think about other people and how you can help them.
I remember one time I was so broke, things are very much hard on me I don’t even have much. But a friend of mine needed small help, and I give from the little I had. Later the joy I feel in my heart was more than the money I gave. That moment I understand that giving is what make life sweet.
