Discovering the Colors of India From My Screen
If I will always find myself coming back to, I will find myself in India whether from reading or just watching programs on TV. The way it is always describe make me feel like it is a land full of many colors, people, and culture. Even without traveling there yet, I already picture the busy street, the festivals, the food, and the sounds that make India unique.
One of the first thing I notice about India from TV is the people. It is one of the most populous country.They are so many, the population is like a whole world in one country. You see the crowded trains, the busy markets, and families coming together for different events. It looks noisy sometimes but in a lively way.
Then the culture part, this is is what really catch my attention. India has different religions and languages, and you can feel how it is part of their daily life day activities. From temples to mosques, from Hindi to Tamil, it is like a mixture of many world inside one nation. The traditional clothes also stand out, the saree for women, the kurta for men, so colorful that even just watching on TV you can feel the brightness. I love their dress and I could chance to put the dress on one day.
Food is another area that always amaze me. Indian food is always show more with so much spice and flavor. I see curry, biryani, chapati, all those dishes I haven’t even taste before but they look delicious when watching on screen. They say Indians love to eat with family, and that shows how much they value togetherness.
What else did I even notice is their wedding. Their wedding style in Indian wedding is not just a ceremony, it is of a festival look. They dancing, the music, the decoration, everything is full of life. It looks like a celebration of not just two people but the whole family and even the community. I love their wedding activities which I will love to attend one day.
Watching all these in India It is tradition and modern at the same time. It is history, culture, food, and people all mixed together. For me, India looks like a place where life is lived in colors, and even from far away, you can still feel the energy.
