What Does a Purposeful Life Mean

Everybody wants to live a better life, everyone want to live fine and good but many don't have a purpose for living such a life. I just want to share my own perspective on this.

Many people talk about living a purposeful life, but sometimes it sound big and confusing. For me, I see purposeful life as living with reason, not just waking up everyday and moving without direction. A purposeful life mean you know why you are here and you try your best to follow that path.

When I was younger, I used to think life is only about making money, enjoying, and later grow old. But as I get older, I start to notice that people who only chase money end up empty when the money is not there again. Purposeful life is different, it give you meaning that money alone cannot give. It helps you to have a understanding of how life it is it self.

To me, purposeful life means doing something that add value, either to yourself other people. It might be raising your family well, helping people with your skill, teaching children, serving God, or even building a small business that support others. It does not need to be big, it just need to give sense of fulfillment inside you.

Living purposeful also mean you don’t just copy others. Everybody purpose is not the same. Some people find it in career, some in family, some in community work. What matter is that you are not just existing but really living. Like a saying that says you make a living by what you get and you make by what you give.

Why it is important is because without purpose, life can feel empty. You may everything but still feel like something is missing. But when you live with purpose, even small achievement will give you joy. You can sleep at night knowing you are on the right track.

For me, I try o live purposeful by using my time and small talents in way that help people around me. I am not perfect, but I feel more alive when I do things that touch others in good way.

So, purposeful life simply mean living with reason, with meaning, not just existing.
