Cloudy and rainy Wednesday
This Wednesday began cloudy and later some showers during the day.
Evie still follows her usual routines.
Today, I learned the expression
hump day= Middle of the week= Wednesday
The exact (unofficial) expression is Happy hump day (Thanks to my friend @raxhi using it on a Thread-Inleo)
The use it's funny to my eyes as it draws a comparison to a camel's hump.

I can imagine us going over the hump, arriving at the highest point and preparing ourselves to descend for the rest of the week
Small but great learning for me as a foreign English speaker. There's always something to learn.
This Wednesday I decided to take a break from my daily run. Well hopefully Thursday is good enough to do my usual 20 minutes of running. It should be a bit more as I lost one day.
I thought this Wednesday was a holiday as I saw a local restaurant closed.
Later I checked, it is not any holiday. Maybe they just took extra days off as summer usually sees lower activity due to vacation for lots of expats.
I still did +11K steps, not bad at all.

“Hump day” works exactly the way you understood it: Wednesday is the middle hump of the week, and after that it feels like the downhill stretch to the weekend. That camel image is why the phrase sticks — slightly silly, very memorable.
