Almost ending the day, I read the notification reminding me that a 1st May I was creating my first account of Blogging into the Web3.
8 Years ago, I even didn't know it was a new space now called web3.
It is very short to say
I opened a Blogging account
Now I can say it has a potential that not much people can imagine how this is not just Blogging but a space where you would be able (actually we are already) to manage your finances by yourself and forget about banks.
Of course there is still lots of things not possible to do as the usual financial system does. But if we learn about some 20 percent of the potential thiings we can do here, most bannks will feel envie of you.
It is not only "mining" HIVE through curation and posting, there choices of Delegating so you HIVE is giving you some kind of Passive income. But if you explore some other micro-ecosystems inside Hive, you will be surprised how you can find different projects where you can stake and create a flow of HIVE and other coins as for example LEO, SPS, DEC, SPORTS, etc.
There is not a book giving you choices. At least I didn't find one yet. I discovered by myself how to stake in different projects and how to get different coins, for example:
For weeks I didn't harvest my SPS, now I saw some 33 SPS to harvest and re-invest...
It os true that the value in fiat is much inferior to my original invested amount, but which project is not affected with the actual situation of the market?
Some other projects could be just a lost, and better to accept it and follow the ones which better potential.
For example my invested small amount on SIM (around 100 USD) it's almost nothing.
Well, taking a look to HIVE in a month candless, it looks like very far the moment when it hit more than 3 USD value by October~November 2021. The bearish tendency looks like eating some more candless...
But even its antecessor STEEMIT, looks witha more bearish tendency.
Sometimes it looks like no save place to go, except for our great HBD (The Stable coin into HIVE), I still believe in that big potential of HIVE, as well than other coins as LEO, SPS, etc. And outside the HIVE ecosystem, I am waiting for some valoration of AXS, RONIN, ADA, etc. IN the meantime, those projects are giving me some coins which I try the most possible to reinvest.
Well, maybe in a couple of years we see a great valuable projects. But who knows!?

Felicidades por esos 8 años, @aljif7. Ese aviso de HiveBuzz no es adorno: marca que ya llevas un buen tramo recorrido dentro de Hive, y eso tiene peso. La insignia de aniversario existe precisamente para reconocer a quienes siguen aquí construyendo, aprendiendo y aguantando el ruido del mercado sin salir corriendo al primer susto, como explica @hivebuzz y su sistema de badges en HiveBuzz Docs.
Lo mejor de tu texto es que no romantiza Hive como si fuera magia. Lo planteas como realmente es: un ecosistema donde uno aprende haciendo, a veces a golpes, explorando staking, delegaciones, recompensas y microeconomías como SPS, DEC o LEO. Esa parte es la más honesta, porque aquí casi nadie llega con manual; la mayoría aprende metiendo mano, equivocándose y luego entendiendo cómo fluye el valor.
La captura del badge deja claro el momento simbólico: “Happy Hive Birthday! You are on the Hive blockchain for 8 years!”. Y la otra captura de SPS también aterriza bien tu idea: quizá el valor fiat no impresione a un banquero con corbata inflada, pero el hábito de acumular, reclamar y reinvertir sí construye algo real con el tiempo. Esa es la parte que mucha gente de fuera no entiende.
También encaja con lo que vienes publicando: mantienes actividad constante y variedad de temas, no una cuenta abandonada que revivió por nostalgia. Por ejemplo:
En corto: tu publicación funciona porque celebra un aniversario, pero en realidad habla de algo más grande: pasar de “abrí una cuenta para bloguear” a entender que Hive puede ser también aprendizaje financiero, autonomía y construcción paciente. Esa evolución vale más que la badge.
