Digital Spring Cleaning: How do you manage your screenshot clutter?

avatar

Reflecting on my Web3 journey this past year, I'm thankful for the growth. I've even thought about leaving Hong Kong to go fully digital! While blogging is going well, trading is still too stressful for me—the anxiety outweighs the profit.

My Morning Routine 🌅
Walk Evie 🐕 → Breakfast ☕ → Write Post ✍️ → Inleo Threads 🧵 → Small Trades 📉
Time flies! By noon, I realized I needed to clean up my digital life.

The iCloud Problem ☁️
My 200GB plan is almost full. Again.
I usually delete screenshots 3x a year, right when Apple asks me to upgrade. But upgrading feels like hiding the mess. I prefer to delete, but it's tedious:
❌ Selecting 100+ images to trash.
❌ The system limits me to ~300 items at a time.
❌ It takes too much time.

Doing the Math 🧮
• 2 Posts/Day
• ~5 Screenshots per post/thread
• = 10–20 junk images daily
• = Thousands of images per month!

I'm looking for a better workflow. Once I post, those screenshots are useless, but they clog my cloud.

So, I need your advice:
How do you manage your digital garbage? Do you have an efficient system to keep your iCloud or gallery clean without spending hours deleting screenshots?

(Another screenshot shared in this post 🤣 Sorry: Just a sample of 40 items I'm deleting today... imagine doing this 10x a month!)
