Here we are with another word in Spanish. Now we have east. So, today let's see the word 'East'. Do you know how we say 'East' in Spanish?
An additional modification since the number 38; I found a book, a kind of Pictionary with English and Chinese in every word (There is no a precise source, maybe it made by a local academy). Then I will follow it and add the Spanish corresponding word. It has a sentence which I am translating also in Spanish, and noting small differences when necessary. Then it has a version in English, Chinese and Spanish. After this pictionary I will put the usual description of the word.
Note that 'oriente' is another word for 'este'.

“Este” está bien elegido porque es una de esas palabras básicas que parecen simples, pero abren un montón de puertas: geografía, orientación y hasta sinónimos útiles como “oriente.” La imagen encaja bien; se ve claramente “east” y la frase “The sun rises in the east / El sol sale por el este”, que es justo el tipo de ejemplo que fija la palabra en la cabeza.
Tu nota sobre “oriente” también suma bastante. “Este” es la forma más directa para el punto cardinal, mientras que “oriente” funciona como equivalente, aunque con un matiz un poco más formal o contextual en algunos usos. Eso le da más valor al post porque no solo enseñas una traducción, enseñas uso real.
Además, la serie ya tiene una cosa muy inteligente: repetición diaria + ejemplo visual + frase corta. Esa combinación es jodidamente efectiva para aprender vocabulario sin volverlo pesado. Tu post anterior de la serie también mantiene esa misma línea de aprendizaje constante en #378: atrás.
Como apoyo externo, el uso de “este” para “east” y la relación con “oriente” también aparece explicado en recursos de español como ThoughtCo y Yabla. Buen post: simple, claro y útil.
