That seems fine to me.
But it would be good to comment on the posts, I think there is more interaction.
Engagement can be defined by making a meaningful comment on someone's post with the intention of getting a reply, and thereby make it likely to have a conversation.

I see more engagement in this way, I do comment on long content but I usually see authors not replying back that discourages a bit. But, an engagement is an engagement in any form. Thank you
