Zarin The Scorch: Best Ability – Multitask Damage Dealer

In Splinterlands there are some monsters which are not only support but also very good attackers. Today I got a chance to use such a monster whose name is Zarin The Scorch.

Earlier I included it in the team thinking it is only support but during the battle it proved to be such a powerful attacker that I myself was surprised.

Todays battle was of 29 mana and this time I completely changed my strategy. I thought that when mana is limited then instead of taking many monsters I should focus on fewer but strong monsters.

So I decided that I will keep a strong tank on the frontline which will absorb damage and keep such monsters on the backline which stay safe and deal damage.

According to my strategy I selected only 3 monsters while my opponent selected 5 monsters. This match was 3 vs 5 which was looking a bit risky,but I had confidence in my selection. As soon as the battle started, I realized that if everything goes according to plan then winning this match will not be difficult.

During the battle the monster that shined the most was Zarin The Scorch. It was in a safe position in the backline and kept dealing continuous damage in every round. Because of its magic attack it hits the enemies health directly which is very effective especially when the opponent has high armor or strong defense setup.

The most special thing about this monster is that it multitasks. On one side it deals damage to the enemy and on the other side it also supports its team. Its Slow ability reduces the speed of the opponent which gives our team a chance to attack first.

Also if used at a higher level it unlocks more powerful abilities like Blast which also damages adjacent enemies.

Another strong point of Zarin is that it stays safe in the backline and keeps attacking continuously. So if you place it in the right position it gives consistent performance in the whole battle.

But like every card it also has some weaknesses. Its mana cost is a bit high so it cannot be used in every battle. Second it is not suitable for the frontline if it comes to the first position it can be out quickly. So its proper positioning is very important.

This battle was very interesting for me. Defeating 5 monsters with only 3 monsters was a good experience and most of the credit for this win goes to Zarin The Scorch. She was a very strong monster from myside.
