Why Do Players Pay So Much for GRIX? Is It Worth $35?

CHAOS.png

In Splinterlands there are some monster cards that are more expensive than their actual value. When you look at their stats, powers and other abilities they seem overpriced but because the card is very rare its demand increases and the seller sets the price as they want.

However every monster card has a specific reason behind its price. Therefore, you need to know about the reason of the monster why that card is much expensive.

Today I will talk about a monster card that is quite expensive in price and its stats and powers are not that special. The name of this monster is GRIX which belongs to the Earth element.

Its mana cost is 3 which means that it is not a heavy card that you can use to perform strongly in battle. One of its features is that you can use it in all three types of battles like low, mid and high mana battles. Its low mana cost is its biggest advantage.

If I talk about its other stats its health is only one that means it can be destroyed with even a small amount of damage. It also has no armor. Its other ability is its speed which is two. This means it will keep attacking itself and also help its allied units to attack with +2 speed.

This monster is known as a melee attack card meaning it attacks from close range and its power is one. These stats and abilities are according to level one.

Its price is around $35 which I think is quite expensive. I don’t have much information about why it is so expensive. If we talk about level two and level three its price can go up to $160 which is very expensive.

If I talk about renting, if you want to rent this card you will have to pay 29 DEC per day which is higher than normal cards.

What special abilities it have? Lets explore

At level one it has Bloodline Tribute which means when defeated all allied units of the same bloodline gain +1 health, +1 speed, +1 armor and +1 power to their attack type.

At level two it also gets Taunt power which draws enemy attacks toward it (except reach, scattershot, wing break, and units in first position).

At level three it gets Swiftness which gives +1 speed to all allied units.

At level four it gains Rebirth which allows it to revive once in battle with one health and full armor.

These abilities increase with each level. Thats also the main reason that changes the monster card price.

In my opinion its best position is the mid line because of its melee attack so you cannot place it in the backline.

Have you ever used this monster? What abilities do you like the most and is this card worthy? Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.

What do you people think about this monster? Have you ever played with this monster? Tell about its any ability you know. Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.

Sometimes in life, value is not always in what the eyes can see but in what the future can become.
I find your analysis of its low mana cost very insightful because flexibility in battle is something many players overlook..
