Borin Hobgoblin: Double Strike, Its Strongest Weapon

Another interesting day of battles passed and after every battle I am getting to learn many things. In todays battle I was defeated but the benefit was that I got to know one more excellent monster and understood a lot about it.

In 24 mana battles I often lose because my selection for low mana battles is not very strong. If I say that in high mana battles my win rate is 90% then in low mana battles it stays around 50% which is far low as compared to high mana battles.

The main reason for this is difficulty in monster selection. Because mana is low and monsters are many, confusion increases. After selecting only 2–3 monsters the mana limit gets completed.

Anyway today there was a 5 vs 5 monster battle. It was a Poison battle, poison was spreading everywhere which made it a very different type of battle. The match was very good and thrilling. 3 enemy monsters were eliminated and 5 of mine. In this way because of my wrong selection I lost the battle.

In this battle my favorite monster was Borin Hobgoblin because of its beautiful abilities I was very impressed. It belongs to the Fire element and its attack type is melee. Its mana cost is medium and it is best to select it in low to medium mana battles.

Its best position is to play it in the frontline or second position. It is considered a high risk, high reward monster. Every hit of this monster is very hard but the main thing is that it needs proper support so that it can survive.

Remember just like this monster hits very hard and kills enemy units very quickly, in the same way it also dies quickly. One mistake I made in the battle was that I did not keep any support hero with it. If I had I would have won this battle.

Its Double Strike is its key ability and is considered its biggest weapon. It attacks two times in one round and its damage is heavy and fast. It is an excellent monster to kill any tank hero if its hit lands properly it can kill one monster in a single round.

Melee monsters can now attack from any position and because this monster is also melee Borin becomes extremely dangerous. Because of the Super Sneak ability it can destroy the enemy backline. The special thing about Double Strike is also that it can kill backline monsters very quickly.

Anyway keep this in mind that whenever you place this monster in the frontline make sure to select a support monster next to it. Such support that keeps giving it armor and healing continuously so it stays longer in the battle and the longer it stays the more dangerous it becomes.

Like other monsters it also has some weaknesses which are important to understand. Its armor is low and its health is also not very high. Meaning if any damage dealing monster hits it, it can be killed in just one round. It is vulnerable to magic damage and can die very quickly.
