Hofbräuhaus Munich / Hofbräuhaus München

Today we had visitors from Paris, so we went to the Hofbräuhaus. One of our visitors always wants to have a beer and eat pork knuckle there whenever they are in Munich. It has become a tradition, so to speak. There are much better places in Munich to enjoy this, but somehow we always end up here. It is one of the city's tourist hotspots. I like tourists who come to have a good time and spend their money. It boosts the economy and creates jobs. If the city and its infrastructure are planned properly, tourism can bring a lot to the table. Considering that there is almost always a festival going on in Munich, the trade fair takes place here, and the city is a hub for all of Europe, tourism should be optimized.
We had a very enjoyable evening with good conversation, as we were in the Wappenraum. It is a little quieter and more secluded there, but you have a beautiful view of the Platzl. Our guests are here for a trade fair, as they have a chain of companies in the cosmetics sector. At this trade fair, you can meet excellent suppliers from all over the world with innovative cosmetic products. And this is just one of many trade fairs, because almost every weekend some of the largest trade fairs in the world and the largest in Europe take place in many different sectors. Yes, one can complain about mass tourism, but that's not what we're talking about here. The city has potential for growth, and if it is well prepared, it can only be good for the people who live here. What do you think? Would you rather inhibit tourism if the potential is there, or would you shape it in such a way that it can grow?

Heute hatten wir Besuch aus Paris und sind deshalb ins Hofbräuhaus gegangen. Eine der Personen, die uns besuchen, möchte immer, wenn sie in München sind, dort ein Bier und eine Schweinshaxe essen. Das ist sozusagen Tradition geworden. Es gibt in München deutlich bessere Orte, an denen man das genießen kann, aber irgendwie kommt man jedes Mal hierher. Es ist einer der Touristen-Hotspots der Stadt. Ich mag Touristen, die kommen, um eine gute Zeit zu haben und ihr Geld auszugeben. Das kurbelt die Wirtschaft an und schafft Arbeitsplätze. Wenn die Stadt und die Infrastruktur richtig geplant werden, kann der Tourismus viel mitbringen. Wenn man bedenkt, dass in München fast immer ein Festival stattfindet, die Messe stattfindet und die Stadt ein Knotenpunkt zu ganz Europa ist, sollte man den Tourismus optimieren.
Wir hatten einen sehr guten Abend mit guter Unterhaltung, denn wir waren im Wappenraum. Es ist dort etwas ruhiger und abgelegener, aber man hat einen schönen Ausblick auf das Platzl. Unsere Gäste sind für eine Messe da, denn sie haben eine Unternehmenskette im Kosmetikbereich. Auf dieser Messe trifft man sehr gute Zulieferer aus aller Welt mit innovativen Kosmetikprodukten. Und das ist nur eine Messe von vielen, denn fast jedes Wochenende finden einige der größten Messen der Welt und die größten Europas in vielen Bereichen statt. Ja, man kann sich über Massentourismus beklagen, wobei hier nicht die Rede davon ist. Die Stadt hat Potenzial zum Wachsen und wenn das gut vorbereitet wird, kann es nur gut sein für die Leute, die hier leben. Wie seht ihr das? Würdet ihr den Tourismus eher hemmen, wenn das Potenzial vorhanden ist, oder würdet ihr ihn so gestalten, dass er wachsen kann?
