Construction site update / Baustelle Update

Nine days ago, I posted a picture here of the construction site I'm working on. A lot has happened in the last few days. I've left the current status and the picture from last week for comparison. As you can see, the room can be used today. Not everything is ready yet: the decorations have to be removed from the room and the lighting still needs to be installed. It's the same in the other rooms, mostly the lights still have to be installed.
Our landlord didn't believe that we would manage to set up a fully functional office in a former hall with a laundry room within a month. He knows that most of our group are involved in construction and real estate, but he said it went very quickly. None of the other tenants got it ready for occupation in under three months. Speed and quality are very important to us. Costs also play a very important role, but if we can achieve something for 5% more, but are ready in three months earlier, we are happy to pay the 5%. Money simply moves faster and you can then do several projects with a significantly higher margin than 5% per project.
I learned a lot on this construction site. My six-year-old son was there every time to learn. Normally children have no place on a building site, but we were very careful, he has common sense and everything went well. What's it like for you? Do you have any major projects this year?

Vor neun Tagen habe ich ein Bild von der Baustelle, an der ich arbeite, hier gepostet. Es hat sich sehr viel getan in den letzten Tagen. Zum Vergleich habe ich den aktuellen Status und das Bild von letzter Woche noch gelassen. Wie man sieht, kann der Raum heute benutzt werden. Es ist noch nicht alles fertig: Die Dekorationen müssen aus dem Raum entfernt und das Licht muss noch montiert werden. In den anderen Räumlichkeiten ist es genauso, meistens muss noch das Licht montiert werden.
Unser Vermieter hat nicht geglaubt, dass wir es schaffen, binnen eines Monats ein voll funktionsfähiges Büro in einer ehemaligen Halle mit Waschküche einzurichten. Er weiß, dass sich die meisten in unserer Gruppe mit Bau und Immobilien beschäftigen, aber er hat gesagt, das ging sehr schnell. Keiner der anderen Mieter hat es in unter drei Monaten bezugsfertig gemacht. Bei uns sind Geschwindigkeit und Qualität eben sehr wichtig. Die Kosten spielen auch eine sehr große Rolle, aber wenn wir etwas für 5 % mehr erreichen, dafür aber in drei Monaten eher fertig sind, gehen wir gerne auf die 5 % drauf. Geld dreht sich halt schneller und man kann dann mehrere Projekte mit einer deutlich höheren Marge als 5 % pro Projekt machen..
Auf dieser Baustelle habe ich viel gelernt. Mein sechsjähriger Sohn war jedes Mal dabei, um zu lernen. Normalerweise haben Kinder nichts auf einer Baustelle zu suchen, aber wir waren sehr vorsichtig, er hat einen gesunden Menschenverstand und es ist alles gut gegangen. Wie ist es bei euch? Habt ihr auch größere Projekte in diesem Jahr?
