Valkyria Chronicles is a Turn-Based Strategy game set in a fantasy world based on World War II. The story follows Squad 7 of the Gallian Army, as they push back against the Empire threatening to invade their land. It's an anime-style war story, with a lot of heart!
I love this game's presentation. The storybook frame around every scene, the water-colors filter on top of 3D models. The way the story is predented if it's a History Book! It's originally a PS3 game, but it has better animations & presentations compared to modern games in 2025. Playing it is a treat for me, and I hope watching my playthrough would be a treat for you too.

This time I manage to finally beat Selvaria...
After the battle, Alicia asks her about her resolve. How can she live as descendant of Valkyria? Selvaria tells her that she only lives for Maximilian.
While being captured, Selvaria asks for her men to be moved back to their homes. The general allows it.
After Selvaria makes sure that her men are on a safe distance, she uses her final power. Turning her Valkyria flame and life energy into a nuclear-bomb-like attack. It destroyed the whole area, and many people have died in the process.
That's the power of Valkyria...
