Let's Play "Marvel Cosmic Invasion" Demo - First 10 Minutes - Single Player - Spiderman & Venom
Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a small Beat 'em Up featuring characters from Across Marvel Super Hero Comics. I played the game's Demo after the latest Steam Next Fest ended, and below is my footage playing the demo plus a short opinion on it.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion
I only played this game for a dozen or so minute, and I played using Spiderman and Venom, the only characters I was interested in of the bunch. I like that there are non-playable Super Heroes in the game, like Beetle, and I love the Sprite Art in this game. It's the prettiest blend of pixelated and hand-drawn, a fluid animation where every punch feels punchy!
I don't have a lot to say about the gameplay. It's a basic Beat 'em Up game, and I'm not knowledgeable about the genre enough to see how it compares to other games, but as a standalone experience, it's fun to play.

I didn't know there was a demo, I have my eye on this one. Although beat 'em ups sometimes seem repetitive to me, as a comic fan this one really appeals to me. I've loved the pixel art style since it was announced, but watching the video, I can see that the animations are much better than I expected.

I've been playing this game with my brother, it's really fun, also I agree, I love pixel art a lot too and it looks nice in this game.
I wish there were more characters though, you start with I think 12 characters and there are only 4 unlockable ones.
My favorite part of the game is the side quests, you play with 2 characters that you can switch around (with 2 players that makes 4), every level requires you to bring in 2 specific characters and gives you side quests to do with them, things like "defeat the boss with Spiderman", "defeat 10 enemies using a specific attack by Wolverine", etc.
To be honest I don't think it's the kind of game that's worth replaying, so only buy it if there's a good deal on it.
Oooh~ I missed you too Al-baraa... Yeah, it's not a game I'm willing to get unless in a good sale.
