Digimon World Next Order is a Digital Pet simulator game where you take care of your Digimon needs while recruiting Digimon to the City and building it along the way.

Digimon World Next Order is a modern sequel to the beloved first entry of the Digimon World series. This time, you manage two Digimon at a time instead of one! The scope of the world is also bigger, and there are more recruitable and obtainable Digimon. The soundtrack is very nostalgic with many tracks being remasters of Digimon World 1 OST. Still, the original had more charm in the moment-to-moment experience.

This is it! The final session!!

I go for the final time to fight Tsuzuki Shoma and get the control of the Enforcer from him. The fight was hard at first, but then I achived ExE digivolution and the battle became manageable from there on.

After the final battle, it's revealed that Shoma was being controlled by Analogue Man, the antagonist of Digimon World 1. It's also revealed that Luche was Shoma's old Digimon partner that he hacked to win a tournament years ago and regretted it afterwards. It's quite a sad backstory...

Finally Mameo was revealed to be Shoma's Teacher!! It made me happy to see the protagonist of Digimon World 1 becoming such a respectable adult.

After the final battle, the group of friends, (now with Shoma included,) activate the World Reincarnation program, and build the Digimon World all over again. It was supposed to take years, so the party promised to meet when the Digital World has finished rebuilding.

It was a surprise to them when that happened before the end of the summer vacation, because years in the Digital World are only days in the real world.

All in all, I like the ending of this game, and I'm happy I got to enjoy it!
