DarkSector [Let's Play] - 02 - Exposure

In this session, Hayden gets his main weapon that he'll use for the rest of the game. Also, we fight our first giant enemy!

DarkSector is another game from my backlog. It's an action shooter with sci-fi elements. It follows Hayden, a secret agent who's tasked with stopping a rouge agent from spreading a Bio Weapon to the world. Hayden himself was infected with the virus which gave him special powers but turns him into something less human.

DarkSector has enough mystery and sci-fi tropes that it didn't feel like another shooter game to me. I like over-the-shoulder perspective that reminds me of Resident Evil 4. The game has a lot of variety in gameplay, and constantly gives you new tools (special powers) and puts you in situations where you have to learn use them.

DarkSector never felt stale until the end, though I had to use guides to overcome some of the challenges. Below you can watch my playthrough.
