The DNA Saga at the hospital yesterday

Great evening to you great people, It has been tough but I saw the toughest part of life today at the hospital.

I had an appointment with the doctor, for a while now my immune system has not been stable due to stress so I decided to visit the hospital last week and I was rescheduled for today.

I got to the hospital by 11am and what I saw marveled me, if not that I saw the victims and I was at the scene I would say it's a movie a Nigerian movie at that.

7 Good years

This young man has been caring for another man's child for seven years; he never knew the child wasn't his own until today.
He said it started when the hospital called the man and told him they needed his attention, and he came to the hospital with his wife, and the doctor told them that one of the nurses had something to say, the nurse who was responsible for switching the child during birth was called out to confess what she did.

According to her, her new found faith demands that she confess all the evil she has committed and she will be forgiven.
Her confession ended up destroying this happy marriage, the wife of this man never imagined that a day like that would ever come.

How did it happen?

The lady wanted a male child and she was pregnant with a female child, so she paid the nurse to exchange her female baby with a male child immediately after delivery, she continued telling her husband that she was pregnant with a male child.

I was asking if the husband wasn't interested in seeing her medical records, why did he believe her blindly but no one has answers to those questions.

Sadly she had a stillbirth which means the other lady went home without a baby not knowing her baby was exchanged during labor.

Everyone in the hospital was surprised, it was as if we were watching a movie but it was reality, so many questions arose, what will the husband do? Will he act as if nothing happened and continue with the marriage?

The man left angrily so no one knows what is in his mind, his next line of action is unknown, the wife was speechless. At first, she wanted to deny it but the nurse was very bold when she confessed that she even had the bank receipt of the money she paid her for the Job.
The hospital already sacked her but what matters to her a is a clean conscience and peace of mind.

Am even wondering how the family members will feel because it is unimaginable and also a disgrace to the family and it has long-term effects on them.

Next week I will get to know what happened next, because I couldn't see my doctor as everywhere was filled with people and noise, I retired home and rested my head though still thinking about the whole matter.
