Definition of love varies

Maadwo everyone, appreciation and commendation goes to the community worker who works tirelessly to get all these interesting topics for weekly prompts every week.

The three prompts this week are exciting, so I want to start with the first one. Let's elaborate on love, including its definition and some experiences with love 💗.

Love Love Love 💟

Everyone has their personal definition of love but that doesn't mean that there is no true definition of love.

Just yesterday while having a conversation with a friend, she said without money how can a man say he loves her, so simple as giving her money to define her love.
In some cases some people say "I don't want your money I want you" and attention is their own definition of love.

Let's see how the dictionary defines love,

Love is an emotion involving strong attraction, affection, emotional attachment or concern for a person, animal, or thing.Wikipedia

For True love means responsibility, it has to do with everything that concerns the person you claim to love, love for the person will make you give up anything just to make the person happy but at the same time you shouldn't lose yourself because you are in love so that means commitment between the two involved in a relationship, both of them are responsible for each other and that way the love will keep flowing but when it's one sided that is not 💕 love.

Love goes beyond just saying it, it requires daily work to help it grow just like a plant requires water and manure to grow.

When love is just from one end it becomes a toxic relationship that can drain one emotionally or even take the person's life.

Unconditional love in a romantic relationship

Yes, I will say unconditional love is real, but it's always as a result of hard work between two different people who came from different backgrounds.

Couples that celebrate many years of anniversary will tell you that unconditional love requires lots of work, it requires patience, and is ready to forgive and forget at all times.
There are times when they don't agree with each other but because they are committed they make lapses for each other so that they can continue moving.
When the condition changes true love doesn't change rather love motivates the other person to provide comfort and refuge for the other person

Unconditional love is not stagnant rather it gets to some point where there is a need for both involved to leave some things behind and make changes that will help the relationship keep moving forward, that doesn't mean that the love is growing cold rather it helps to prepare the couple for the future.

Family 💕

Personally, I have experienced true love from my family, my family has shown me unconditional love, some things should have prompted them to send me away but they always been forgiving and patient with me and I wish to get a man someday who will be committed to show me unconditional love.

In summary, love is not just mere I love you it means responsibility, hard work and it requires patience to grow, and it's not for anyone selfish.
