A date gone wrong

The Valentine topic brings back the memory of Ugochi my friend who lost her life on a Valentine's day, it's a touching story but I have to write about it.

No more Valentine with her to date

"Am on my way" that was the last word her fiancé heard from her the next call was a tragic one.

It was the morning of February 14th. Ugochi already had plans to go on a date with her fiancé, unbeknownst to her what was set before her.

Her fiancé called her, and they spoke on the phone for hours, she was busy with house chores so they had to fix the date for 5 pm then she would have been done with everything she was doing.

By 2 pm Ugochi's fiancé asked for time to sleep and they ended the call, Ugochi continued with her house chores, by 4 pm she had her bath, got dressed in the beautiful dress her fiancé bought her, she put on makeup, and called her fiancé on a video call to show him how she looks and he was so happy.

The fiancé also left home well dressed hoping to see his beautiful damsel, he got to the venue and called her, she told him that she was on her way, he got a drink for himself and waited patiently to see her.

The news that broke him

Just ten minutes after she said she's on her way, a strange number called and he picked up, the background of the call was very noisy, and he thought maybe it was a mistake call so he hung up the call, same number called him again this time the person was shouting saying "Ugochi was involved in an accident please we need you right now"

Immediately he rushed to the scene only to see Ugochi with a pool of blood, He rushed her to the hospital and the doctors started treatment immediately.
Ugochi was diagnosed with severe brain damage that resulted in multiple seizures and her blood pressure was always high.

This young man regretted fixing a date on that Valentine day, he was so frustrated over the whole situation, the doctors tried their best but after a few days, Ugochi died due to the damage in the brain.

What will this young man do? Some people said move on but it is not that easy to move on and forget someone he loves so much, someone who lost her life while coming to meet him, it was so devastating for this young man.
It's like a movie that will always play back every 14th of February, no matter how much he tries to forget.

Am not sure he has celebrated Valentine's Day ever since, Valentine really went so wrong.
