RE: Weekend Engagement - Solo But Never Lonely

I used to fear traveling, walking, or visiting a place completely alone, and now I struggle to understand why that fear plagued me... Today, I just know that I thoroughly enjoy being alone—alone to read, to write, to walk around places, to sit and have ice cream anywhere... because it's a personal space I've learned to enjoy from time to time... I even know how to respect that my partner needs time for himself, too. Solitude is a very pleasant and often necessary experience.
