Ixoras are highly resilient plants that adapt perfectly to our climate; they offer a wide variety of colors,and remain in bloom for most of the year, and—thanks to their malleability—can be shaped into any design a gardener chooses.
When botanists classify flowers, they categorize Ixora blooms as inflorescences; this means the cluster of flowers—or all the blossoms emerging from the same bud—constitutes a single unit.
I love seeing them used as garden hedges.
