Why Was Jesus Christ Baptized Despite Being Sinless? || MCGI Topic Review.

It is crystal clear to everyone that Jesus was baptized by his cousin, John the Baptist. Even though he was as old as age thirty, he was sinless and here is the question. Why was Jesus Christ baptized even though he was sinless?
As a Christian, it is part of our fulfillment to be baptized.

In the Bible, Matthew 3:13-15 says; Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan, unto John, to be baptized of Him

But John forbade him saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him

When saying to fulfill all righteousness. As Christians, I mentioned earlier that as part of the things a Christian has to fulfill, baptism has to be one of them. If you are not baptized, it means you cannot be fully called a Christian so the baptism is important.

Now, come to think of it. Jesus Christ is the mentor of every christian. If Jesus Christ can be the one to always tell us about how important it is to get baptized, I know so many people ask why Jesus Christ didn’t get baptized if he didn’t get baptized.
To avoid such talks, he got baptized almost immediately after he started his missionary work.

That’s the basic reason why Jesus Christ got baptized. Also, if you are well familiar with the Bible, you will know that the apostles were also baptized. For the to be called disciples of Jesus Christ and apostles of God, they got baptized.

If I am permitted to use the word compulsory, please let me. Jesus Christ did the compulsory thing every Christian should and that’s how he got baptized without any sin.
