What Was Jesus Occupation Before His Ministry? || MCGI Topic Review.
God wants us to work. Let’s even forget about that but we are now in the world that we have to work. Gone are the days when people help others and can accommodate a jobless person but these days, you just have to work so that you can survive.
Even in the days of Jesus Christ, he was working. He had a job which he was using to feed himself and to make ends meet.
At first, so many people didn’t know or recognize him as Jesus Christ. They only knew him as the carpenter, the son of Mary and Joseph but they eventually knew him as Jesus Christ when he began his missionary lifestyle and spread Christianity throughout the world.
Mark 6:3 says; This passage records the people of Jesus' hometown asking, "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?
So this is a message to all pastors who think the missionary work is a work that they can get paid for. God never expects any man of God or any so called prophet to do the missionary work as a means of earning money.
Salvation is free and the reward of prophets come from God. He is the one who can reward you of all the good works and his words that you have spread throughout the world.
And even for the posts that we make everyday or almost everyday here, we spread the word of God everyday and the only one who can reward us is God.
