What Makes A True Disciple Of Jesus Christ? || MCGI Topic Review.

When people hear the word “disciple”, most people think it was only the apostles of Jesus Christ when he was alive are his disciples. As long as you are a follower of Jesus Christ and you are doing the things he commanded we Christians to do, you can also be a disciple.

Yes, Jesus Christ has died for our sins but it still doesn’t mean you cannot follow his ways anymore. Everyday is a given opportunity from God to you to do as He says and follow the ways of Jesus Christ, our Lord.

A disciple is anyone who learns the teaching of Christ and pute them into use in his day to day activity. Did Jesus Christ say anything that you may be missing? If no, then practice all the things that he says. Do everything Jesus did and said. Then, you are a disciple.

Though, there may be no formal screening about who is a disciple of God or not but deep down in you, if you are truly doing what the Lord has commanded us to do, then you are a disciple. It is as easy as that.

Luke 6:46 says; And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

If you can decide and accept to call Jesus Christ, Lord, it means you are ready to follow his ways.
You have to follow your Lord? Right? If that’s the case, do all what he asked we humans to do and then, you are a true disciple.

Apostles are disciples but it isn’t all disciples that are apostles. This is because apostles are given the power to cast out evil spirit even though it is with the help of God. But they are disciples because they are doing the teachings of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Being a disciple is one of the important things to do if you want to follow your path to heaven.
