What Is Religion? || MCGI Topic Review.
To worship God in the spirit and in the truth is the true religion and that’s what religion truly is. Religion can be seen as a way of worshipping God or serving God. The Bible is the only one that can tell or teach us a true religion or true worship or true service to God.
In the book of James 1:26, the Bible says, If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.
If you are in a religion, you need to have the full power or control of your tongue. You don’t have to speak carelessly or mannerlessly or speak bad things against people. If you are the type who does any of this, it means that you religion is vain.
There are two types of religion. We have the good religion and the one that is in vain. In the true religion, the true worship, true salvation to God and true ways to live is taught in the church of God by the Bible.
In the Bible, 1 Timothy 3:15 states that, But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth
There is a true church in the Bible and it is the church of God. In the true church, men are instructed on the things that they should do.
The true church tells people the right things to do and helps us differentiate it from the wrong things.
If you are part of the true church which was stated in the Bible, you will know when you read your Bible regularly and some facts will be spilled there.
Now, it is left to you to check if you are a member of the true or vain church.
