There Are Better Days Ahead.

What’s the purpose of a business? It’s to make money. That’s why everyday when I get to the shop, I always try my best to be good yo my customers because the impression of the seller matters a lot.
Funnily, there is also one person who sells the same as me and that’s a big challenge because she’s got more goods and more customers.

I can even bet that she makes twice of the money I make daily so before customers get to me, they get to her first.
It’s Sunday and I’m bored at home so I chose to come to shop. On getting to shop, I realized that the other woman had opened and I learned that she comes on Sundays. It’s not discouraging though because I’m surely going to make sales.

After one hour of getting to shop, I didn’t make a single sale. Then, that’s the most discouraging part of it because everyday, I always want to make sales. It became discouraging that I just had to put on my speaker to jam some music. Instead of thinking about the poor sales, I can just play some music and I’ll be fine. If I make sales, it’s all good and if I don’t, it’s good as well.

I played “Blessings” because that’s exactly what I need right now. Sometimes, blessings happen like miracle so yeah, that’s all I need right now.
I just gave myself that hope of having good sales before I leave the shop.

Even though I was playing some music, my mind was still not settled. “Is this how I won’t make any sales throughout the day?” I asked myseld and I was already spending about two hours at the shop already. It’s half day and I’m only going to spend three hours but two out of it is gone.

At the same time, I was being happy that I’m not where I used to be so I will always improve as long as there is time for improvement. While playing my song and I had forgot about the poor sales and started thinking about something else, my best customer came.

The surprising thing is that she bought more goods even than her usual market days. If that’s what I’m going to sell throughout the day, I’m fine with it. At least, there are days when I don’t even make up to the amount of goods she bought.

Then, I realized something that my mum tells me all the time that we just have to keep going stronger. As long as we show up everyday, there will be something to be thankful about.
Truly, everyday may not be a good one but if a day then decides to be a good one, it’s really going to be good and mostly better than usual.

That’s how consistency works and for anyone who feels sad or down about his or her financial life or sales, just keep pushing because there are better days ahead.
