The Right Path In The Bible || MCGI Topic Review.
The right path in the Bible is the path of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the path of the Lord Jesus Christ is the old and if we want to do the right thing and follow the ways of the Lord, let us seek the old path.
Then, the question will be, “What is that old path?”. Without watching this video of Brother Eli, I wouldn’t know what the old path means but with its help and the Bible, let’s open our Bibles to the book of Jeremiah which says:
Jeremiah 6:16, Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
When talking about the old path, it means the path of faithfulness and the law of God. The old path is the way of the Lord and if you want to seek God, you have to go through the old path. That’s not all, you have to go back to the ways of the Lord which you had abandoned earlier for human materials or life vices which are never the ways of God.
Do you even know people who are not following the ways of the Lord or the old path? They are described in the book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 56:11 describes them as; Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
That’s the wrong path and there is a punishment for such people. Which would you choose? Would you like to be punished for following the wrong path or embraced for following the right path?
