The Existence Of Drones.
Remembering the first time I saw a drone. I was at a musical concert when I sighted a small airplane moving above our heads and I was carried away by its movements.
Instead of focusing on the show which I went for, I got all my eyes on the drone.
Eventually, I learned that it was a drone and it is used to make video coverages of a particular place. In my mind, even though I was already told that it is a drone, all I had in mind was “airplane camera”. That’s what it was to me. How will an airplane take pictures or make videos?
If we’re talking about one of my best science innovations, this is one. That’s not just it but it’s funny how drones are now used as a means of delivery. This just feels like the best science innovations and I’m sure that aside taking pictures with drones, we will get used to using drones for other things.
Some people even use drones as a means of security. There was a time when I lived at Victoria Garden City, Lagos and I sighted some drones flying across the sky.
“They are used to watch everything going on in the estate,” this is what one of the security officials said to me and it made sense to me.
That means, instead of the guards walking to the nook and cranny of the estate watching if everyone is safe, they can easily send a drone and that will be a good one.
It amazes me all the time how many things a drone can do and that’s one of the innovations which I love most.
There are also people who use drones to make researches. Especially wildlife researches, no one dares go into the forest. Instead of risking their lives, why not send a drone? It’s as easy as that.
Let me put it this way. A drone can be sent to wherever its owner doesn’t want to step into. I guess that makes sense.
Maybe they should make drones bigger. At least, so there can be two people on the drone and people will be able to have a flight experience even though it may have its limitations.
I enjoy ghe existence of a drone and very soon, I will get one for myself so I can use it to monitor my business whenever I’m not around.
As a child I kept wondering how wild lives were filmed, until I realized the use drones.
It still mavels me, drones are so important.
For real! There was a time when I thought those videos made from the sky were made by using multiple ladders on each other till it becomes very tall
