Speaking In Tongues|| MCGI Topic Review.

There was a time when I was amongst some people who tried to force themselves to speak in tongues but it didn’t work. After then, I realized that it was a gift from God.
If God gives it to you, it’s good and if He doesn’t give it to you, do not force it.

But what does speaking in tongues mean? It means, speaking a language that is far different from your mother’s tongue.
This does not mean that you have to learn the language. It is simply saying that Holy spirit will descend on you and make that work.

In the Bible, The Acts 2:7 states that; And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

Why did they marvel? That’s because the apostles spoke in tongues. They spoke in another language entirely which is different from what or the normal language that they speak.

When God gives us the opportunity to do that, we should use it for something good. And, most times, when people speak in tongues, they want to use it to pass a message across or even to shed light into darkness.

It’s a big gift when you speak in tongues. It’s from God and no one should ever take it for granted.
