Living A Debt Free Life.
I believe that everyone do not earn the same amount and fingers are not equal but there is one thing which everyone should know. We all need to know that it is important to live lower than our means so that we can save up and save ourselves during an emergency period.
Just this night, my dad, mum and I got talking. My dad is a member of a cooperative society and he happens to be the general secretary of the society. Then, he mentioned that there are some people who have gotten themselves in trouble because of the debts or amount of debt they’ve got themselves in.
Then, some people say it’s because they’ve got families. This is should have been an easy tactic. It may not come easy but should happen. You shouldn’t give birth to more than you can train. Gone are the days when people always want to give birth to about five children or more but not anymore. Things have changed and people are expected to cut their coat according to their clothes.
This is just one thing I love about myself. I know I’m not rich, I may not live a very flamboyant lifestyle or can’t do what my mates do but I don’t do more than myself. I don’t get into a debt that I wouldn’t be able to pay it up. It’s not in me.
Do you even know what kills us in the society? It’s debt. Most people are in debt and for some people, they do not have any hope anywhere. Now tell me, how will someone who makes a hundred thousand naira in a month be owing about three million naira. It will take him thirty months to pay up but never forget that this person will have to feed himself and his family if he’s a family man.
Just do your best and leave the rest. It isn’t a must to have all the good things of this world. As long as you are happy with the little things that you have, then you should be fine.
This should also not make you give up, but it will make you feel relaxed and you’ll realize that life is not worth putting yourself in debt.
Yes, life may be worth living but being in debt makes you depressed and shortens your lifespan.
Living as a free depth person is very good but life sometimes don't always go as planned.
