Last Days In High School.
Victoria, Elizabeth and I were very good friends in high school. We moved around and did all things together. It was our final days in high school when everyone in the finalist class thought of what to do which can create beautiful memories of our final days in future.
Let’s play truth and dare game but we have to lock the door if we want to do that so our teachers don’t come in, the shortest boy in class, Adura said.
That’s a nice idea. Everyone loves truth and dare gamebecause it mostly exposes those who were dating in class, people who had crush on themselves and sometimes, we want to watch the greatest enemies kiss in class.
The game begun after we all sat round a water bottle of one of our classmates.
Each of us will roll the bottle and whoever the cover of bottle is facing will be the one to answer the question and whoever the edge of the bottle is facing will be the one to ask the question. There will be no going back, Adura, the boy who suggested that we all played truth and dare game said and made the rules clear to everyone.
The game started peacefully and we were all enjoying the things our classmates were doing. We found out that some people were secretly dating and some have a crush on each other.
As the game progressed, the neck of the bottle faced one of my closest friends, Victoria.
Wow!! the whole class yelled. No one in class has ever seen Victoria with a boy either in class or in any of the senior classes so everyone was curious. As bad luck would have it, the bottle was facing one of the baddest boys in class so we knew he was going to ask a wild question.
Choose one boy you like in the class. Bring him to the center of his class, woo him and make sure that he accepts to be your boyfriend right away, that was tough. Everyone in class began to murmur.
Who was Victoria going to choose? Does she even like any boy in class at all? We all asked each other the question and we watched Victoria walk round the class to pick the one who befits that position.
It was Kelechi. I kept wondering if she has a crush earlier on him or she just picked up a random guy in class. Looking at Victoria woo Kelechi, I realized there was a prior likeness even before the game but that felt like the best time to tell him how she feels.
Every girl in class likes Kelechi. He was so cute and also one of the biggest boys in class so everyone wanted to have him as their boyfriends.
Then, I noticed that while everyone was clapping and screaming because of how Victoria wooed Kelechi, my other friend, Elizabeth was mute. She doesn’t seem happy about the whole thing and at a time, she stood up and got out of the class.
I didn’t notice at first until a boy beside me tapped me and said Elizabeth walked out on the whole class.
I own Kelechi. I told him first. I still sent him a text message before leaving the house today. I’m sure that Victoria maybe once caught me staring at him and she surely knows that I love him, Elizabeth began to yell immediately I went outside to ask her why she left the class.
It was supposed to be a day to have fun and play games but instead, it caused a rift between two close friends. Then, the whole class heard what happened and even Victoria was never aware about the fact that Elizabeth liked Kelechi.
We have just ten more days to spend with each other as classmates and Kelechi was left to choose the girl he liked between Victoria and Elizabeth.
Kelechi, why are you causing an argument between my two friends? Now, tell me? Who do you want to date? Make it clear so everyone will know, I went to Kelechi after the whole game and yelled at him. I thought the end of the game will be a good one but it’s the opposite.
Kelechi decided to keep mute about the lady he really liked. We all continued to guess. We had our graduation party with my two friends who were still at loggerheads with each other.
After six months, I heard that Kelechi and Victoria were officially boyfriends and girlfriends. That means, he truly liked Victoria but he waited for the graduation party so he doesn’t escalate the matter between the two friends.
Kelech indeed is wise. Such a brilliant decision just so issues don’t get out of hand. But wait, am I the only one who hasn’t played this truth or dare game? Honestly I’ve never found myself in such a scenario and I guess it’s because I so much dislike the game.
Beautiful piece my dear. Wonderful writing as always.
Please don’t play the truth and dare game oh😅😅😅😅
It’s mostly corrupt
I've never liked the truth or dare game. Hardly would it ever end well, but Kelechi did good to pretend and say nothing
I don’t like it either
It spills a lot of crazy facts
Kelechi had always loved Victoria but could not say it because he was everyone's choice. I like what Kelechi did by not choosing any of the girls that day to avoid more issues among them.
He was just so sensible
That’s one of the reasons why he was part of the biggest boys
