When it is time or when you feel like there is a time for you to get married, there is a particular word which tou should take seriously and that’s “prudent”.
If you are a man, what is meant for you is a prudent woman and if you are a woman, what you need is a prudent woman.

What does prudent mean? Prudent means having wisdom when it comes to dealing with practical matters. Other words for prudent can be wise. So what you need is someone who is wise enough to be able to fit in and you both will work towards solving problem in your lives.

In the Bible, Proverbs 19:14 says; House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.

Being prudent has to be vice versa. It wouldn’t make any sense for the man to be prudent while the wife is not and it would also not make sense for the woman to be prudent while the husband is not so this has to be the same way.

And before one gets married, you should have known if your partner is prudent or not before finally getting married because marriage is a lifetime something.

How do you know if such person is for you? Just test his prudence or test her prudence and that will help you know if that person is yours. You will also be the one to decide your faith and with the help of the holy spirit, you won’t choose wrongly.

I Corinthians 1:19 says; For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

So when you feel like someone is prudent, wait till you hear from the Lord. There are some prudence or wisdom which is nothing in the sight of the Lord.
