Is Eating Pork Allowed By The Bible? || MCGI Topic Review.

We have to understand that there are laws which took place before and are no more in use. Also, there are laws that bounds us till eternity so we have to understand and be able to differentiate between the laws that are forever and laws that are just for a little time.

The non eating of pork is a commandment that was given by God to Moses regarding the children of Israel but not for everyone. According to the Bible, the Israelites are not allowed to eat the pork meat. They are prohibited from eating pork meat.

In the Bible, Leviticus 11:2-8, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.

Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.

Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.

Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.

This commandment was after Moses had rescued the Israelites from the hands of Pharoah which was achieved with the help of God.
So, this commandment isn’t for you as long as you are not an Israelites.

I think the mistake people made was generalizing such commandments which is wrong.
