Hearing But Not Listening To God’s Word Pt2/2 || MCGI Topic Review.

God is so good. He has given us our ears and we are responsible for what we use it to hear and also listen to. Anyway, I feel that the most important purpose why God has given us ears is so that we can hear his words and also listen to Him.

When we say hearing, it means to understand, assimilate and to receive. But people may hear but not listen. I’ve seen cases where so many people understand but do not listen. It might have been a different case if they didn’t understand but they actually did.

The Satan comes so fast into the lives of people who do not believe in the words of the Bible. He is going to blind those people automatically so that they will not give the word of God a listening chance. As we know, satan is the enemy of God and he will look for ways that his followers will increase and he can do anything to get that.

So, don’t even expect them to hear and obey the word of God because they won’t.

In the Bible, Colossians 3:5 says; Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Don’t you think the people who practice idolatry are not hearing the word of God? They have been used by Satan as his tool so no matter how much you try to convince such people, they will never listen to you.
It’s not like they don’t know that God is the greatest but they just wouldn’t listen to whatever you say.

In the Bible, Mark 4:12 says; That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

This is how it should be. This is how the Lord wants it but some people have decided to go through the way of Satan and not listen to God. Well, there is judgment for all our actions in heaven.
