Forgiveness Of Sins || MCGI Topic Review.
Nobody is perfect and as far as I’m concerned, we will continue to sin against God. This doesn’t mean that we are fully aware of it. It only means that it is still normal for us to sin unto God and once we are aware about our sin, we should apologize.
This same thing goes for we humans. We can’t do without sinning against or unto each other. And we have to learn the habit of forgiveness.
If God can always forgive us of our worst sins, we should forgive humans too. There should be no limit to when or what time we should forgive people. It should be all the time just as God forgives us when we sin unto him.
In the Bible, Ephesians 4:32 says; Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you
Do you actually think you are perfect? No! It is God that keeps forgiving you. Take a look at how Jesus Christ still loved and forgave the people who sinned against him and even nailed him on the cross.
Is there more sin someone can sin unto someone other than that? But Jesus Christ still forgave those people.
This is what Jesus Christ taught us. It is one of the things which God has said that he should teach us and that we should practice.
In the Bible, Luke 17:3-4 says; If your brother or sister[a] sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. 4 Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”
So, we should always forgive. That’s what the Bible says about forgiveness and we have to follow it. If we truly love God and want to gain access to the kingdom of heaven, we should learn to forgive.
For God to keep forgiving us our sins, we need to forgive others who sin against us.
There should be no limit to the number of times we forgive those who sin against us.
Forgiveness should be practised by we christains often although I cant say that forgetting can happen along side forgiving
