Forgiveness Of Sins || MCGI Topic Review.

There are two types of sins in the Bible and they are grevious sins and unpardonable sins. In the Bible, the are usually called sin-unto-death or sin-not-unto-death. The two of them are sins but one is usually stronger and more weighty than one.

1 John 5:16 says; If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

It’s necessary to always tell a brother in Christ or sister in Christ when they are committing a sin unto the Lord. Someone may live for up to a hundred years and continue to commit the same sin everyday because he or she is unaware of the sin she’s committing.
If the sin is not intended, or it is not intentional, or it is not meditated, or not a pre-meditated sin, there is a chance for forgiveness.

Matthew 18:21, Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

This is to show that we can forgive people so many times and it does not necessarily have to be seven times. It can be more than seven times. God, the creator, forgives us of our sins so many times. God gives us the opportunity by forgiving us all the time we sin as long we are not aware that we are sinning or that we have asked God for forgiveness after we have sinned unto him.

Matthew 18:22, Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

That’s to show that we should forgive people so many times. God wants us to forgive others so he can forgive us.
