Christian Life - A Prayerful Life || MCGI Topic Review.
Even if we are not Christians, I feel we should be at least thoughtful to think about the essence of prayers in our lives. God has created us and one of the reasons is because He wants us to worship Him and also pray unto Him.
Sometimes, many things might have happened freely but God wants to pray which is a form of looking up to Him. That’s why the usual life of a Christian is a prayerful life. Christians are meant to pray and we have to pray to God.
A Christian is someone who is prayerful and many times, Christians pray for those who do not love them. Just like the attributes that Jesus Christ had portrayed during his lifetime.
Luke 23:24 says; Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing
Let’s go back to the days when Jesus Christ was about to be crucified. Even though he knows how much the people disliked him, he still prayed unto God for them. He still asked God to forgive them because they all do not know what they are doing. That’s the life of a Christian.
To crown it all, Jesus Christ died for their sins. That’s the highest. Dying for the sins of people who you know that they hate you and they even do it to your face. It’s hard but if Jesus Christ can set an example, we should be able to do that as well.
Here, I’m not saying that we should die for the sins of our fellow Christians but the littlest we can do is pray for them. When we pray for them, we pray for ourselves too and God answers the prayer of a Christian who prays for his fellow Christians.
A Christian is prayerful and that’s what and how exactly we should be.
Prayers just can't be overemphasized most especially in the life of a Christian.
We should pray for everyone, even our enemies and those that hate us.
Prayer is our backbone as Christians, it's our only means to communicating with our maker.
