How to end a sublime Sunday / Cómo terminar un domingo sublime (eng-esp)

Sundays are once again sublime for me. They tell me they're the two most boring days of the week because you can't go out that afternoon since you have to work on Monday.
And that's not true.
This Sunday I decided to spend it with my wife and some friends. We left early in the afternoon, just after lunch, and made our first stop at a café for a cup of coffee before continuing.

The coffee shop is called La Chela

Not only do they sell pretty good coffee, but we were able to buy some beers and other drinks to share with our friends.
The meeting point was the Nave Oficio de Isla, located in an industrial area of ​​Havana Bay.
But while we waited for our taxi, we decided to spend some time at the coffee shop.
I quite liked this place because of its design.

Especially for these lamps. They have a very attractive retro look.

Once the taxi arrived, we headed to Nave Oficio de Isla. That day, La trovuntivitis would be performing, accompanied by two poet friends. The show is one of a kind. Plus, all the members of Trovuntivitis and the poets are friends of ours.

But we still had two hours before the show started; So we started reading poetry and horror stories to each other, while sharing the drinks he'd bought.

The Isla Office Ship is immensely large. It's a three-story hangar packed with commercial establishments and a huge crafts and modern art fair.

It's also a time to reconnect with old friends from other provinces, like my dear friend Rosy.

Of course, artists after all, we strolled through these art galleries to enjoy the exhibits on display.

Personally, I don't like these types of paintings at all, but they have something, and Foreigners love them. They buy them by the dozen.

The concert was the best part of the whole thing. That combination of voices, harmonies, choral arrangement, and intelligent lyrics are a testament to the best that's being done in the new trova and songwriting of the area.

After the concert, we stayed to talk and finish off the drinks we'd bought.
And so, the sunset surprised us, chatting.

But as beautiful as the sunset was as seen from the Isla Office Ship, we decided to go for a walk along the Malecón.
I'll never regret that.
The day had been a crescendo of good things. The stay at La Chela had been magnificent. The conversation before the concert was very refreshing and fun. The concert and the poetry recital as part of it were magnificent.
And just when I thought it couldn't get any better than this, that pink-tinged blue sky appears, with a crescent moon that looks like something out of a cartoon.
And then, the colors of the sunset on this seafront promenade.

Night fell upon us. We sat chatting on the wall, on the shores of the bay. We reminisced about the old days, when we used to come here more often to enjoy the sea breeze.

Enraptured by the view and lulled by the murmur of the internet, I took out my cell phone and took this photo.
It was because of it that I decided to write this post and share it with you.
This is how you close out a truly sublime Sunday.

Hola, amigos de #hive

Nuevamente los domingos vuelven a hacer sublimes para mí. Ahí me dicen que son dos días más aburridos de la semana porque no se puede salir esta tarde ya que el lunes hay que trabajar.
Y no es así.
Este domingo decidí pasarlo con mi esposa y unos amigos. Salimos temprano en la tarde justo después de almuerzo e hicimos una primera parada en una cafetería para degustar un café antes de continuar.

La cafetería se llama La Chela

Ahí no solamente venden un café bastante bueno si no acaba de más pudimos comprar algunas cervezas y bebidas para compartir con nuestras amistades.
El punto de reunión sería la Nave Oficio de Isla, ubicada en una parte industrial de la Bahía Habanera.
Pero en lo que llegaba nuestro taxi decidimos hacer tiempo en la cafetería.
Este lugar me gustó bastante por su diseño.

Sobre todo por estas lámparas. Tienen un aspecto retro muy atractivo.

Llegado el taxi partimos para la Nave Oficio de Isla. Ese día se presentaría La trovuntivitis, en compañía de dos amigos poetas. El espectáculo es algo único en su tipo. Además, todos los integrantes de la Trovuntivitis y los poetas, son amigos nuestros.

Pero aún teníamos dos horas antes de que comenzara el espectáculo; así que comenzamos a leernos poesía y cuentos de terror, en lo que compartíamos las bebidas que había comprado.

La Nave Oficio de Isla es inmensa de grande. Es un hangar de tres pisos de altos repleto de establecimientos comerciales y una inmensa feria de artesanías y de arte moderno.

También es un momento para reencontrarme con viejas amistades de otras provincias como mi querida amiga Rosy.

Por supuesto, artistas al fin, paseamos un poco por estas galerías de arte para disfrutar de la muestra en exposición.

En lo particular, este tipo de pinturas no me gustan en absoluto, pero algo tienen, y a los extranjeros les encanta. Las compran por decenas.

El concierto fue lo mejor de todo. Esa combinación de voces, las armonías, el arreglo coral y las letras e inteligentes, son muestra de lo mejor que se está haciendo en la nueva trova y cancionística del área.

Terminado concierto nos quedamos a hablar y a terminar con las bebidas compradas.
Y de ese modo nos sorprendió el ocaso, conversando.

Pero por más hermoso que sea el ocaso visto desde la Nave oficio de Isla, decidimos salir a caminar por el Malecón.
Nunca me arrepentiré de eso.
El día había ido en un crescendo de cosas buenas. La estancia en La Chela había sido magnífica. La conversación antes del concierto fue muy refrescante y divertido. El concierto y el recital poético como parte del concierto estuvo magnífico.
Y cuando ya pensé que no iba a haber nada mejor que esto, aparece ese cielo azul teñido de rosa con una luna creciente parecida salida de un dibujo animado.
Y luego, los colores del anochecer en este paseo marítimo.

Así cayó la noche sobre nosotros. Conversábamos sentados en el muro, a orillas de la bahía. Recordamos los viejos tiempos, donde veníamos más a menudo a disfrutar de la brisa marina.

Embelesado con la vista y arrullado por el murmullo de la conexión, saqué mi celular y tomé esta fotografía.
