A life-saving coffee shop / Una cafetería salvadora (eng-esp)
Hello, coffee lovers around the world.
When we're far from home, it's hard to make that longed-for and delicious morning coffee. I think it's the most important coffee of the day, as it helps us start the day with joy and energy.
But what do we do when we're traveling?

My wife and I recently found ourselves in that situation. We were in Cienfuegos and didn't have any coffee, so, very early in the morning, we went for a walk around the city to find a coffee shop that opened early so we could enjoy a cup.
That's how we found Coffee shop San Carlos, a centrally located, comfortable place with great coffee.

There, to our great surprise, we found that they prepared espresso, cortado, and cappuccino.

The coffee was reasonably priced and of better quality than we expected, given the atmosphere of the place.

So we settled in and were able to have breakfast and drink coffee to our heart's content.

What's so special about this coffee shop? It's a place where everyone passes through on their way to or from work. That's why the atmosphere is so lively; some people are smoking, and there's also the noise from the avenue.
These details make the place feel alive, constantly moving, and it's quite interesting. Except that it makes it a quick stopover coffee shop, not a place to sit and enjoy your coffee and lose yourself in thought.
So much so, that many people drink their coffee standing at the counter and continue on their way.

And the place is furnished. The low seats are quite comfortable, while the high ones, where my wife and I were sitting, were a bit uncomfortable, since we had nowhere to rest our feet.

The fact that everything was black didn't bother me, although I must admit it gave the place a somewhat unattractive look.
However, I really like furniture in this color. It contrasts very well with any wall color.
And it's perfect for photography.

So, almost by chance, we stumbled upon Coffee shop San Carlos, right in the heart of Cienfuegos.

A coffee shop with excellent coffee that was a lifesaver, since every morning we were in that city, it was there that we bought our first coffee of the day.

If you go to Cienfuegos, don't look far. This is the only and best place to buy coffee if you're an early riser like us. I highly recommend it.

Si van a Cienfuegos, no busquen mucho.

The place looks quite colorful despite its black furniture, but it gives the atmosphere a certain sobriety and tranquility.
Unlike many people, I don't like drinking my coffee standing up, so the first thing I look for is furniture where I can sit as comfortably as possible, just like you and your wife. Thank you for sharing your discovery with us, best regards!
I don't like to be stand up either... i have to enjoy My coffee!
Thank you for reading. That means a lot
That's why it's not always good to judge a book by its cover. The coffee looks great, rich, and strong!
