Bitcoin reached new ATH at 113.000 and Netherlands hodlers could be screwed mucho

In the same week where again the unrealized capital tax voting bill has passed in the Netherlands which you can see in this news thingy Bitcoin has reached new all time highs.

A big yay for BTC followed by a big 'wow what the hell will this turn out into'. 113.000 US dollars for one bitcoin ain't something to take lightly but also this new law that also already will do something in retrospect over 2025 starting in 2026 which I really need some reading into in what this will actually mean.

I already wrote something earlier in the week in the big changes that will start in 2028 in this blog and what passed this week seems to be a step getting ahead of this. 36% over unrealized gains in 2028 but already starting the unrealized gains in this year.

Im not a fan of these changes which will already have affect over the upcoming year which is about this year. It feels like the rules are changing while the game is still being played. That being said...Im only a small (say miniature) player in all of this, imagine how the big boys are feeling.

Regardless on this sucky issue:
HOLY CRAP what an amount of funds on BTC is going on!! Who would have though years back that Bitcoin would reach these kinds of highly.

I remember a friend buying stuff on the Darkweb (hey it is Netherlands) back in the days when I had no idea what he was even talking about or what this technology even was.

Little had we known....That would have made me take some other decisions at that time in stead of spending on beers dancing on the bar.

Congrats to the ones who did at that time! Let's celebrate !!

The U.S. floated this idea of taxing unrealized gains too ... which is one of the reasons some crypto holders here helped sweep the Democrats out of majorities in federal government.

As for Bitcoin, I watched it print ATH after ATH after ATH last night ... it's been a long time coming, and it was a beautiful thing to see. Also a lot of temptation to sell ... there will be some profit-taking somewhere...
