Krypto schneidet bei den Frauen tatsächlich ziemlich schlecht ab, ist aber nicht das unattraktivste Hobby.
Noch weniger geschätzt werden der Konsum von Porn oder frauenfeindlicher Manosphere-Content als Hobby oder Gambling.
Irgendwie verständlich. Denke, dass die jahrelange, negative Kampagne in den Mainstream-Medien gegen Bitcoin und Krypto zu dem schlechten Image von Krypto beigetragen haben.
Auf der anderen Seite schätzen es Frauen, wenn Männer finanziell erfolgreich und unabhängig sind. Betreibt man Krypto professionell, ist es aber auch kein Hobby mehr, sondern eher ein Job. Jobs in der Finanzwelt werden von Frauen hingegen geschätzt. Auch irgendwie nachvollziehbar.
Zu den attraktivsten Hobbies zählen übrigens, Lesen, eine Sprache lernen, und ein Musikinstrument spielen. Damn, vielleicht sollte ich wieder ein Instrument spielen lernen, um bei den Girls erfolgreicher zu sein 😂

Crypto actually scores pretty poorly with women, but it isn’t the least attractive hobby.
Even less appreciated are watching porn or misogynistic “manosphere” content as a hobby, or gambling.
Somehow understandable. I think the years-long negative campaign in the mainstream media against Bitcoin and crypto have contributed to crypto’s bad image.
On the other hand, women appreciate it when men are financially successful and independent. If you trade crypto professionally, though, it’s no longer a hobby but more of a job. Jobs in the financial world, on the other hand, are valued by women. That’s also kind of understandable.
By the way, some of the most attractive male hobbies include reading, learning a language, and playing a musical instrument. Damn, maybe I should learn to play an instrument again to have more success with the ladies 😂
What do you guys think? Why does crypto fare so poorly with women? What are your experiences in this regard?

I can totally see that. I think the general stereotype is the "crypto bro" and/or the guy that only talks about crypto. Its probably like the guy in high school that was a pot head and only ever talked about why cannabis should be legal...
This is exactly what I was thinking. "Crypto" isn't associated with learning about blockchain technology and being incredibly smart, but rather with the typical "trading bro". And who wants to be with someone who is just gambling their money online...
But that's a thing where we, as the Hive community, would come into play again, to change the view on crypto as a cool tech, rather than a gamble.

From a feminine perspective, yep, it's the crypto bro stereotype that puts us off. And to be fair, I've met my fair share of crypto bros, especially among the younger generations, you know, the kind who puts everything on that one "magic" coin that's gonna make him a zillionaire? which isn't only boring but doesn't signal good qualities for a prospective mate.
I guess just mentioning crypto on a date's gonna get you some odd stares, but it depends a lot how you lead it. If you go into your "surefire get rich scheme", you've lost it, but if you otherwise talk like a normal, ordinary dude who sees it as a maybe and doesn't invest more than they can lose, you should be fine...just my two cents worth, idk.
Think scammy crypto bros are also not very much respected in the crypto space, unfortunately too many scammers not just in crypto but IRL out there.

I think it does poorly because crypto has a bad reputation due to the scams, but I can't say for sure.
For me, crypto nowadays is the one of the most attractive male hobbies. Someone like me is not knowledgeable on this stuff so the more I'm interested to learn from boys because based on my observations, there are more male crypto enthusiasts than female. Hmmmmmm...That's only from my own observation.
